Kimono Ken

I haven’t tried many dishes here but so far, none are particularly memorable with the exception of the TOFU STEAK. Must try if you haven’t! Among the simple makis, the Kani Salad Maki is a good choice.

My family’s go to place when we can’t decide where to eat! Been coming here since I was super young, and still go here regularly. Food and service has not changed, everything’s still as I remember and it’s great. Love their tempura, chicken teriyaki don, dynamite roll, chicken teriyaki salad, kuri kani salad, spicy maguro salad, tamago soup, and beef.

Kimono Ken is one of our go-to-place for comfort food, Friendly and approachable staffs... I would definitely recommend this place. Sumptuous sushi :

This is one of dad's favorite Japanese restaurants. Ever since he passed away last July 2018, mom and I never set foot here, not til recently. I guess we have already moved on. Not totally but getting there. My dad's suking servers do not work for this branch anymore. I remember how they took care of dad's special needs everytime we were here. Anyway, I ordered my usual, Philadelphia Maki and mom, her Ebi Tempura with Chahan. Everything tasted the same, no change. Even the new servers were as nice and efficient as the old ones. I will see to it that mom and I do a revisit again. Soon.

We tried their Green Tea Jelly and Coffee Jelly. The flavor of the green tea from the Green Tea Jelly was delectable. If you're a green tea lover, this is definitely a must try. The Coffee Jelly, on the other hand, was as expected, nothing special, but ice cream is full and creamy.
