Bidrage med feedbackThe room we were given was tiny with extension leads hanging from walls etc. I was in grave fear of electrocution all night. Kept awake all night by the sound of the hot water service continually heating. When it stopped heating it was blissfully quiet until it started again! Stay anywhere but not this hotel!
The setting of this historic hotel is appealing, and the dining room is a quaint reflection of its history. The food on offer is old style pub food, and was good value for money. As with much of the West Coast of Tassie this time of year getting staff is a struggle, so service levels was a bit less than you hope for, but understandable. A good reliable feed on a cold autumn night
I had Pork Belly while my partner ate Lamb Shank. Both were SUPERB!! They were large servings but too go to waste so we managed to eat it all up. So glad we decided to dine at the Empire, definitely coming back on our next trip to Queenstown!
Excellent meal and we enjoyed it immensely. For the complainer persons go eat in our New Zealand. Food is not up to the amount served in Tasmania. Great quality and taste
13 of us had a great feed tonight. Everyone said how much they enjoyed their meals. I had Surf and Turf which was very good, but the Sticky Date was sensational.
