Woodland Espresso - Puyallup

This use to have a YELP under FoxHallow Coffee, but I don't see it anymore. It has had its ups and downs from those reviews and currently, through the years. I've never had a bad experience here. I use to love it but now it's just average. The staff has always been friendly and quick. I don't know when the overall flavor changed but I still recommend this place as a good cup. They also do a punch card so after several purchases you get a free drink. I'd rather go here than Starbucks.

Drink wasn't the best.. and for some reason one of the blonde girls that was making my drink kept asking the other girl at my window that took my order if I was tipping or not. She wasn't even finished with my drink yet and she was worried about a tip?! I think that's really rude.

(Fox Hollow) Excellent flavor, fast and very friendly. Lower price than Starbucks and tastes much better.

Stopped by this cute espresso stand before my hair appointment nearby. I was nervous because I hadn't pulled up my GPS to find a coffee shop, and Foxhollow/Woodland popped up to my right immediately after I realized I didn't know where I was going! It was a Thursday morning so it was a little packed, but they got through the line quickly. Customer service was kind and they had my drink made fast. Prices are comparable to other spots for the drink that I get. I usually get six shots of espresso over ice with two scoops of white mocha, with cream in a 20 oz cup. It tasted great no burnt shots here, and the perfect amount of sweetness! Will return to this spot before my hair appointments going forward.

I have been going to this place for years! Amazing coffee, most of the baristas are great! Today was one of the last days I will probably ever go there. For some reason one of the baristas felt she was entitled to a 15$ tip. I had my 83 year old grandmother with me who gets confused easily. I tip every time I come, but not 55%, our total was 27 we handed 42. I received no change back at all. When I asked for our change she rudely said we assume any extra cash we get that it 's a tip. That 's a very big assumption! *UPDATE* I was contacted by the owner of the stand who promptly addressed the issue that had occurred. She let me know that is not their business protocol, and the misunderstanding has been addressed. I am thankful that is was cleared up, and all was made right. They have the best coffee I 've found in Western Washington, and most of the ladies are absolutely wonderful there! Hiccups happen from time to time I get it. They deserve 5 stars as a whole!
