Henry's Diner - Putnam

The servers were excellent. Very good coffee. Had the pastrami/onion BenedictEnjoyed it very much. My wife had the daily special with 3 eggs and spinach. She liked that also but I thought it looked a little skimpy.Food: 4/5

What a great little place to discover. The service and food were exceptional, they know how to cook eggs (not joking)! I suggest the muffins, like homemade. We will be going back hopefully to try lunch next time.Food: 5/5

So I waited a little while before writing this to see if the owners would actually call me, but they did not. I've been sober off alcohol for a little over 7 months now. When I dipped my fries into the ketchup, it tasted like cheap beer! The ketchup bottle smelled even worse! I'm not sure how you can allow such insane cross contamination, absolutely disgusting. And whomever cooked the burgers has no idea what medium rare or well done even is. The restaurant was dirty, and the staff was rather incompetent except for the waiter, who was the only helpful one. I would not bother eating here as this shows how often they even bother to clean their condiment containers, never mind the rest of the establishment!

I love this place. Simple home cooked diner and regional favorites. Breakfast is great and always spot on. If you’re a local you know, if you’ve never been here, try it. Pizza is better than 95 percent of local competitors. Try it!
