Brown's Beach House - Puako

Absolutely nothing but praise for this establishment. 5-star service all around! My wife and I ate here for our anniversary and were in awe of the quality and presentation of the food, the friendliness of the staff, the amenities of the facility, and the young Hawaiian man performing love music.

It's a beautiful place with good food. We enjoyed the live music as well as the gorgeous sunset. While on the pricier side, I definitely think you get what you pay for here. The ube rolls that come with your meal had me howling like a dog.

Great experience. Food was lovely and our server was brilliant. The view is spectacular. Only critical point is that the chairs get quite uncomfortable after a while.

Atmosphere, top notch, as the sunset and seaside were perfect. Service was attentive and exquisite as the staff payed particular attention to “celebrating anything special tonight?”. The venison dish I suggest medium rare ad venison is so easily overcooked) is certainly the absolute must for anyone coming to Brown’s Beach House . That all being said I have but one criticism: the tempura ahi tuna. The tempura distracted from the ahi tuna hiding inside. A clash of flavors ad opposed to a marriage.

Perfect, romantic spot for an anniversary dinner. Service was excellent, view of sunset was unimpeded (arrive a few minutes early for a 5:30 reservation for 'front row ' seating). Food was really good only weird thing was that as soon as our entrees arrived, we were swarmed by flies. They did not bother our appetizers, drinks, bread, or dessert, but boy were they attracted to the main course, which was very distracting as we tried to eat fast while swatting them away. Not the restaurant 's fault of course, that is part of eating outside. Live music.
