Just keep driving past. Worst food, expensive and honestly how do you have a patio and run out of beer.... Seriously....

We went here on a Saturday night for dinner and it was so great.... We went quite a few times last year and were let down most times. But with the face-lift, and the new menu we were pleasantly surprised!! I mean the service has always been top notch, but the food was great, and the price was good! They had everything that we ordered, and all of it was great. We had a steak, the trout and a pulled pork sandwich and all 3 of us raved about them. And the fries were great!! The only thing I wished was that they sold wine by the 1/2 liter and or bottle. But other than that it was great. And the view? Best in Wellington, bar none. Give this restaurant another chance, you will not be disappointed.

I ordered chicken and a side of "delicious home made potato salad" which was almost certainly scooped out of a huge white bulk tub, right into a tiny styrofoam cup. That was four bucks, which made me feel like an idiot. The smoked BBQ chicken was dry, completely tasteless with rubbery skin, and vaguely brushed with bland off the shelf BBQ sauce. I can't believe this place is still in operation.

One our favourite restaurants in Wellington. Casual dining, right on the water. You can sit outside under an umbrella and enjoy the view. Food is great, service terrific. Menu delicious, especially the soups.

We've given this place a few chances with the old and new menu and the food is still some of the worst in the county. Everything tastes like is have come from a frozen box but the prices reflect fine dining which this place couldn't be further. Given the location they could have a full house every night with some decent food, but there's a reason that the place is nearly empty when the patio hours are done.
