Maitrea - Prague

Nice food, a lot of choices. I chose the typical Czech (Hungarian) goulash dish with 'dumplings ', which basically are pieces of soft bread. The meat was a mixture of soy and seitan and had a great texture. I also had the tofu foie gras, which had quite a meaty taste, but since I never had the real foie gras, I can 't say anything about how real it was. Next time I will definitely try the other dishes, since the local dishes are tastewise just not my personal favorites. Great service and surprisingly affordable for the location.

The place is wonderful, everything is beautiful, we loved the atmosphere ! The food was amazing, I had the Goulash, which was very tasty! The service was fast and the team was nice and friendly ! We tried a lot of restaurants in Prague but this one was our favorite !

Fantastic space. The service is very efficient and friendly. They could just do with serving a lot more vegetables. And using less salt.

We had our first nights food here and it was a great choice! Food tasted really good and I was in food heaven. My boyfriend liked his food also. We felt like we weren't completely welcome there somehow, like they didn't like that we spoke english. But we had our food and drinks, were Happy with those and service was tolerable.

I’m so glad i was able to try some authentic czech dishes vegetarian style! i thought the meat in the goulash was real and called the server over panicking, that’s how good it was! the whole restaurant has a hippy vibe with flowing water, calm music, and incense. such a laidback and lovely atmosphere. recommend to any vegetarian (or carnivore)
