Gilley's Diner - Portsmouth

This is a small place with s few picnic tables behind the building. So expect that if you go. The people were very friendly especially the man who I believe is the owner. We got our food and went outside. The burger were very good. I had poutine. If in the area I will definitely be back.

Small cute place with reasonable prices for American fare food. Fresh fries and patties really enjoy their food.

Burgers were great. Probably best for takeout. Not much room to sit. Still kind of a fun retro 1950s mom-and-pop small diner experience.

Great place. Food is very good. But while i was ordering i asked if the women wouldn't make cheese soup out of my hot dog when she adds cheese. its just the way i wanted my hot dogs and thought she would want to know how i wanted them) nope i was told not to tell her how to do her job. I was not! You asked me how i wanted them. Never going back she was rude

Come here once every two weeks and get two doubles with everything a poutine and baked beans and eat every last bite. I don't eat like that regularly but gilley's is THAT PLACE. Condolences to one of the owners in talking with your polite and amazing staff we heard of your loss and we wish you warmth and ease with time to come. We love coming here I have 0 complaints and nothing but great things to say about this place I recommend it all the time.Usual meal for two when we goMe: two doubles with everything poutine and beans like I mentioned.Gf: double cheese with select toppings and poutineAltogether about $44 flat I like to tip them well so I won't include that in the price.(Side note I've had things like the cheesy steak here and I won't lie it hits amazing better probably with a beer or two in you so take it home and heat it in the air fryer for 3 minutes while you grab a beer or two, thank me later.
