Caffe Kilim - Portsmouth

I often chose Caffe Kilim as a go-to spot pre-pandemic, and I'm happy to report that after a 2-year hiatus on my part, I returned to find the same great place today. The atmosphere is friendly, the coffee is excellent, and the selection of sweets is tasty. They even carry Lovebird's vegan donuts to enjoy. I recommend giving them your business if you're in the area :

Caffe Kilim is definitely one of the better cafes in Portsmouth. The Turkish coffee is delicious, and served in traditional Turkish coffee cups. If you haven?t had one and like strong coffee, this one is for you. Ask for it with some sugar, and ask to be shown how to drink it you don?t want to sip the grinds!

Very good coffee. Also a section with Turkish specialties as well as some home goods.

Cage Kilim is awesome! I always go there for Mochas and occasionally a Chai. The city has some construction going on out front, but don't let that deter you from the best cafe in Portsmouth!

Finally writing Caffe Kilim up after coming here for years. There are a number of good coffee spots in Portsmouth but this place is probably the most dependable spot I can think of. Staff and coffee are always good, unfussy, and attracts a pleasant crowd.
