Field Stone Grill - Portage

This is a lovely spot for a delightful dinner. The small patio dining area outside is quite relaxing during the summer. The soups range from good to very good, and the fish is typically fresh and well-prepared; my personal favorite is the grilled salmon. The menu changes every month, making a visit worthwhile each time.

My wife and I had a wonderful chance to go out for a meal the Saturday before Christmas. It was a surprise for her, and I chose Field Stone Grill for lunch between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m., hoping for a peaceful and relaxing experience. We were not disappointed. The house salad, although a bit light on some ingredients, was delicious and satisfying. The beef ravioli was also quite good. My wife's portobello mushroom and risotto dish was, in her words, excellent. The desserts were delightful and enjoyable as well. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch.

The restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious and healthy options. I enjoyed a fantastic lunch on the terrace, surrounded by picturesque views.
