Port Perry Thai

I have ordered the pad Thai and different curries from this place multiple times and never had any problems. I always make sure to confirm that my order is gluten-free before placing it, so they are aware of my dietary restrictions.

I recently had a negative experience at this restaurant when the staff mistakenly gave me gluten even though I had specified that I am celiac. The owner refused to give us a refund and claimed it wasn't a big deal. After receiving a written apology, I decided to give them another chance. However, the female owner was extremely rude and continued to blame my husband for the previous mistake. She even suggested that we should be grateful for the food she made for us. Overall, it was a bizarre and unpleasant experience. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone with celiac disease or serious allergies.

I have ordered lunch from Port Perry Thai multiple times and have never encountered any problems. I always inform them about my gluten allergy and double check that the food I am ordering is safe for me to eat. They are very accommodating.

Trying to order after an experience when the staff gave me gluten; if I had specified, I am celiac and they assured me everything in my order (easy pad Thai and allegedly GF rolls after the menu). There were gluten sauce included in our order and the owner screamed to my husband that he could not have his money back, and that it was not a big deal. Anyway, after a written apology after my written complaint, I tried to order again, and the female owner was extremely rude, and again my husband was responsible for the previous gluten screwing. Very bizarre and she even said that I should be grateful that she made food for us. Needless to say, we will never be back and I do NOT recommend if you have celiac or have any serious allergies.
