Bidrage med feedbackThe Saint St Grill is a fantastic choice for upscale dining with excellent food, service, and ambiance! We enjoyed a lovely dinner on the patio, which had a nice view and outdoor lighting that gave off a summer atmosphere. The appetizers were delicious, especially the 3 Beet and Blue Cheese Salad which was fresh and perfect for the season. The main entrees, Free Range Chicken and Tammahawk Pork Chop, were juicy and tender, accompanied by flavorful mashed potatoes and pea risotto. The staff was friendly, funny, and attentive, even going above and beyond by honoring an expired gift certificate. We look forward to trying the interior next time, as it is filled with interesting decor. We highly recommend the Saint St Grill, as it is definitely worth the price. Thank you for a great experience, we will definitely return!
The service at this restaurant was excellent, the food was cooked perfectly, and the Melontini drink was delicious! I decided to try the venison dish, but I felt like it was lacking a bit of the wow factor. Perhaps this was because some of the dish components had to be substituted due to my dairy allergy. My mother agreed, noting that the venison could have used more salt when I shared a slice with her. Unfortunately, it seemed like every dish on the menu contained some form of dairy, which was disappointing for someone like me with a dairy allergy.
Make sure you come hungry if you order the pork roast tomahawk at this restaurant! It was large and delicious, and even though I have a big appetite, I was no match for it. The roasted goat's cheese with the Dynomite onion jam was incredibly flavorful with a generous portion. The grilled romaine salad was a delightful show on its own and very tasty. The seared scallops were pure magic and absolutely delicious. We had a wonderful anniversary dinner here and can't wait to come back for another special meal. Jay and the staff were fantastic, and the patio with its spectacular flower baskets added to the lovely summer evening ambiance. Thank you, Jay!
We were there for dinner. We had a great experience, the service was really good; attentive without being overbearing. The server seemed to know the menu well and was able to answer all questions. They have a really good selection of drinks and deserts. I got the braised beef while my wife had the duck breast. The duck breast was much better than the braised beef. I found the beef to be a little bit on the bland side you had to constantly add or dip the beef into the sauce to get any flavor out of it. I personally would not order the braised beef again, although it seemed like it was one of their popular dishes.
From the funky decor 'of all ages ' (see if you can spot the Banksy joke! to the epic service and truly wonderful food... this is a 'return for sure ' location. I 'll add photos of the food later, but I was stumped for what to have everything looked amazing, and the lamb was very special. 4 chops, on a rich jus, with potato and veg cakes, roasted fennel and cauliflower, and some green puree. So good. So, so good. Definitely order this medium rare. Tender, flavourful... and a fun little quirk: scored fat on the back creating chicharron of lamb! The Chef 's twist on a Caesar salad, with a chicken scotch egg (and a very authentic anchovy flavour filling out the richness and saltiness, along with huge flakes of Grand Padano was lovely at the 1/2 each size, and my partner 's daily special (halibut on green pea risotto and a lovely broth, with guy lan and asparagus was so well balanced and full of bright, fresh flavours. The creme brulee we shared at the end... mmmmWAH! Kiss kiss. So rich, so balance, low sweet and a lovely finish to a great meal!
