Coastal Cafe Pena Nevarez Seafood Company

We stopped by over the 4th of July weekend while driving along the coast. We were very impressed by the friendly and very accommodating staff who went out of their way to make our lunch just perfect. The seafood was good, fresh and not expensive. The same dishes in a fancy place would cost $10 more. I hear they will be moving into a new place with an ocean view soon. I will be looking for them next time I am in town!

Such a lovely restaurant!! Food was great and service as well

Prices were more than fair and the lady was working very hard running their family business. Asked about the fish and she had some fresh whole flounder and it was excellent. I would have paid much more at other establishments. Let’s be honest most places are serving farm raised shrimp that are tasteless. Their shrimp actually tasted like shrimp and were fried perfectly. If you are looking for quality seafood at good prices give them a try. Ask what she has fresh and spend your money at a family owned restaurant.

It was the first time to eat there and I was very impressed. I had a fish taco and the fish was very good. It was crunchy on the outside and moist, well cooked on the inside. It was very tasty! Will be back as soon as I can.
