4 stars overall 5 view, maybe the best view in region Had a nice lunch here over the weekend. They have an interesting board brunch menu but we decided to order off the regular menu. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. The location sits on a cliff with a clear view of Connecticut about 15 miles across the Long Island sound. Wow! The interior is nicely updated and has a large U shaped hard wood bar with granite type top. We were seated at a water view booth overlooking miles of the Long Island Sound. We has a prime strip steak cooked to expectation. Maybe slightly salty, but u can get slightly overly salted steaks at the most premium steak houses. We also had a traditional wedge salad with steak add on. A huge portion of fillet. This was fabulous, i 'd get this on my return. For apps we had calamari, it was decent, just not super. As a side we had a mushroom and roasted corn dish that had smoked bacon and lima beans, very good and unique. Our server was polite, knowledgable and professional. We were enjoying the view so much we ordered cappuccino 's and an apple crisp type desert. Both delicious! I recommend this place and i will return. Overall the food is probably a 4 on the High End Steak House grading scale (not a bad grade, a good grade, just not super excellent). It is sill a recommend and will return The view is phenomenal and worth the trip alone.

Nasty people. Tried booking for Brunch with Santa. Called from wed to today. Left numerous messages about booking. NOTHING. Finally today called again got someone. Proceeds to tell me they r booked from 2 weeks ago. IMAGINE NO CALL BACK TO ME TO TELL ME THIS. THEY LIED TO BOOT. TOLD ME THEY ALWAYS CALL BACK. Now too late to book anywhere and grandkids so upset. BY THE WAY THE MANAGER WOULD NOT COME ON PHONE. LOUSY WAY TO DO BUSINESS.

Excellent service, extensive menu and beautiful views. A quiet setting for a special meal. Salmon is a must. Bartender is extremely helpful in selecting wines by the glass and creative mocktails for teens. Filet mignon, mashed potatoes and creamed spinach made me feel like I was in a world class steakhouse. Can't wait to go back.

The Club at WaterView at Port Jefferson was fantastic!! We had a birthday party with 6 guests. My husband and I enjoyed a perfect espresso martini at the bar first. Service was excellent. Then we were promptly seated at the best table in the house. Alex our server was accommodating and efficient. I shared the best Tomahawk steak with sides with my hubby. Best steak I've had in years. The sides were amazing. Our guests had fish which was perfect as well. Dave the manager was attentive and friendly. Felt like we were the only table in the place. Ambiance was incredible. Clean and birthday surprise went without a hitch. It's going to be my new steak place from now on. If I could give 10 stars I would. We will be back. Liz M.
