Bidrage med feedbackWith Port Fairy hammered by a COVID staffing crisis, Conlan’s was one of the only places in town open for dinner, and as such was fully booked out. Despite this, the service was excellent and attentive (with one girl taking on the entire restaurant herself). The food was delicious and reasonably priced and the drink selection was extensive. We had a wonderful dinner.
What an amazing hidden gem! We absolutely adored the atmosphere, the cuisine, and just everything about this place. It is definitely a must-visit if you are in the area of Port Fairy. We will definitely return!
One of the best places to eat in Port Fairy. Great food, great wine, great service. Menu is modern, share or individual and ohhhh so delicious. <br/
This is a delightful place to enjoy a casual dinner. The food is a step above ‘casual’ and the limited menu is very good. Busy even at 6.15pm and the focus is on sharing plates. Excellent Serrano sliced to the side of the room. Croquettes, Grilled Cuttlefish in a spicy mayo, Asparagus on puff pastry and a top notch pork belly with a lovely crackling. Finished with a 5 cheese selection. An eclectic wine selection either by the glass or from the attached wine store, paying a $15/bottle corkage. Wine bottles included a vintage Hill of Grace at $800, Magnum Of Farr By Farr Pinot at $200 and yet also bottles at around $40. The Dark and Stormy cocktail a big hit. <br/ <br/ Service is professional and very, very friendly. Highly recommended. You’ll need to book during vacation periods.
Port Fairy’s Done It AgainWent here earlier in the week with the family, there was five of us and we enjoyed the six waves of food Dego.We purchased our own wine from the attached wine store and had at it.Food was great, from grilled saganaki to Portland bay bugs the flavours were there in full force, the pork belly could of been a bit more crispy tho.Finishing with a panna cotta which was the best I’ve ever had and I’ve had a few as it’s my favourite dessert.
