If they love traditional durban curry, this is the place to go. the mutton hase is the real deal! a small curry gravy to soak in her brot, combined with a lot of tasteful, smoked meat. they will not be disappointed. this is one of the best curries I had. will definitely be back.

Love Curry. I order it everywhere we travel. The shop is small and charming. The food and flavor is magnificent. I remember eating curry in Pretoria at one of the top 10 Restaurants in South Africa. The food we had there cannot compete with what we get from Hungry Peter. Its a takeaway but you take a piece of India home with the food. Nice flavor-packed portions of lip-smacking food.

Hungry Peter really makes you hungry. Food is authentic Indian. Best Indian food available in Port Elizabeth. Indian delicacies are finger licking delicious.Service is quick and friendly. All the staff are friendly and courteous. Enjoyed the food a lot....I recommend for those who really want to eat good Indian dishes as back in India.

Walked pass countless times yet somehow I found myself at the counter,and what a pleasant surprise. The friendliest and informative owner,not too bad of a wait for the amazing food that arrived. Flavorful,lovely presentation and very hearty. I will definitely be back and spread the word of this authentic Indian food being served with passion and class. A must!!
