Le Clos de Melanie - Pontchâteau

Invited for lunch in this unpretentious restaurant. Looks like eating better than expected. First, I was disappointed that my choice of 3 nets from the more than Menu du Jour was not available. No pintade! But cook for salvation! He asked if... I liked duck what I did, and offered me two choices. So I chose cuisse de canard. The meal was nice. My friend had what he chose very well.

We found this place randomly, get hungry and fall off the highway and watch our GPS. In Sunday noon the restaurant was quite crowded. We really enjoyed our meal, the service was fine. They get the feeling that they, and in particular the chef, unlike some of the lazy but expensive places that we have recently in France.

We visited this restaurant after a period of several years and on a quiet night in May 2013 we enjoyed a beautiful experience. The menu was interesting and the subsequent selected dishes were a pleasure added with some very personal touches. (The actual boss...apparently on a few occasions to serve certain signature dishes. Although the restaurant was quiet and outside the season, the atmosphere was pleasant and complemented by a good, attentive service. The prices for the food were fair and were an excellent value for money. My wife and I will return later this year during our next trip and we would recommend a visit to others.

Nous avons découvert se restaurant avec le passeport gourmand. une très bonne table menu raffiné et copieux patron très gentils nous avons passé une agréable soiree je recommande vivement ce restaurant,nous y retourneront
