Broad Street Deli - Pompano Beach

Found a little as in the newspaper for this place and decided to try it. The chicken noodle soup was great, the owner said it was the recipe of his grandmother. My husband had the reubs and loved it. You could easily say it was all homemade. They even had Dr. Browns who is a must have this kind of food. The owner was friendly and attentive. Try it out, you won't be disappointed.

This new deli was a pleasant surprise for us. We stumbled upon it by chance and are so glad we did. We tried their Broad Street Special 2-pound sandwich, which was filled with Pastrami and Corned beef, and it was absolutely delicious! The portion was so generous that two of us were able to enjoy it and still had leftovers for another meal. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, even giving us extra rye bread and pickles. We also took home 4 of their knishes (two Kasha and two potato), which were homemade and incredibly tasty. We will definitely be returning soon!

The Jewish Deli, located in the Harbor Village shopping center west of the Intracoastal for about two months, is owned by the same owner as 5 Girls Burgers next door. Formerly an ice shop, Broad Street now offers Jewish deli favorites for breakfast and lunch from 8:30 am to 4 pm Monday to Saturday. The small, clean, and bright interior has seating indoors and some outside, perfect for autumn. The menu includes biscuits, knishes, lox, matzoh brie, challah French toast, and bagels. I ordered the Reuben sandwich, stacked high with corned beef on fresh rye, served with my choice of cold salad - I opted for coleslaw and two pickles. My meal, including a Dr. Brown's cream soda, cost around $17. While not cheap, the food was delicious; in fact, I could only finish half of my sandwich. This spot could be a great choice for a picnic lunch to enjoy at the beach.

As local residents, we decided to give the new Deli a try. We were pleasantly surprised by the New York-style corned beef on rye and the delicious homemade matzah ball soup. The atmosphere was unassuming, with the owner discreetly working behind the counter. We will definitely be adding Broad Street to our list of favorite lunch spots.

Love real Lox not Nova. They have both and the bagel with Lox is loaded. Delicious home made knishes, terrific herring in cream sauce. They have Gluten Free bagels for my friend. Good Jewish deli food. Kasha and bowties were tasty.
