Sisco's Philly Cheez

I've been here several times over the years. The staff are always friendly and the service is efficient. Vibe is very relaxed and the chicken home style recipe is delicious.

Called in here with the family after a morning on Cylinder beach. Fabulous chicken meal and a couple of fish platters. All cooked fresh and tasted gorgeous. Good value for money and a nice friendly atmosphere. The place is spotless and clean. The staff member was on her own, she took our orders, cooked the food and brought it to the table. We had a great time, highly recommended.

We ordered the chicken burger and the chicken was big and crispy. Staff was absolutely friendly so that we could enjoy spending time there. Also if you are lucky, you can meet the kookaburra and touch him! That was a lovely experience.

As you walk up the stairs of this modest coast shack decorated restaurant you are immediately transported to happier days of holidays on the beach. With a very friendly welcome you choose a table with a view (they all have views) sit down and study the short but delicious menu. There is fish and chips and salads, so a variety of well priced tasty meals. Of course, you have to order the chicken, I put this restaurant in the same genre as Charlie Vergos Rendezvous in Memphis Tennessee and Coopers BBQ Llano Texas, Stan’s Chicken and Beer completes my ‘Golden Triangle’ of most amazing ‘taste value priority’ food, kicking in very cold beer and very warm hospitality. A trip to Nth Stradbroke Island will never be complete without a drop in to Stans Chicken and Beer. I would give it 5 stars except disabled access is a little difficult.

Location location location! What a view from the restaurant. We were really happy with the food too. The crispy chicken burgers are super crispy. The spicy chicken wings a good heat. Thank you Stans beer and chicken. We will be back!!!
