Taqueria El Faisan - Playa del Carmen

Muy sabroso... atención excepcional... La torta de asada y empanizado estaban deliciosas..........

We made a quick lunch here, especially because it said they had free wlan. we didn't expect much of this place. also because it was close to a large tourist attraction, coba and it looked very easy. but what a pleasant surprise! the chicken...pibil was delicious and the cochinita (pork) pibil was even better! served with some tortillas, rice, beef and salat. and the prices were very fair. be careful not their chips in too much of rhat salsa though: very sharp. but delicious.

We spent the morning in the Cobá ruins and knew that we would take a bite out somewhere near it. now, we saw cochinita pibil listed on the outdoor menu, and my man wanted to try so we chose el Faisan....The cochinita pibil, a slowly roasted pork, was tasty not overloaded with taste, like BBQ sauce, just a simple juicy pulled pork with a side of bon reisum stacking in fresh hot tort! I had ordered the burrito looking for a little harder, provided it would have to contain borrowing. Now, there were buzzing, but forget what they saw about burritos in the usa, they were more like a queensadilla, stuffed with cheese a piece of ham and embroidered with a tomato sauce with grilled tweezers and pfeffer. it met the place, although it wasn't what I expected. both plates had a small side salad without dressing only fresh vegetables.

La comida regional es bastante buena, pide la salsa xnipec es muy picante de chile habanero, la salsa de pepita Ha' Sikil P'ak es deliciosa, una buena alternativa para comida reginal
