La Laguna - Playa del Carmen

Big buffet with everything you could imagine, but the couch seats at the tables are so low, even my 6’3 man and son were pinched above the table. we decided to wait an additional 15 minutes for a couch table. also they do not...honor open table reservations. if they have a reservation, they are still waiting behind a tonne of other people who just showed up.

La Laguna was wonderful! They had a great menu with a wide range of options that was perfectly situated on the water. The food was absolutely delicious and our waiter, Christian Reyes, made it the most special of all. He was so friendly, attentive and...personable. He made the experience so enjoyable we are coming back again and will request to sit in his section. Christian delivered the best customer service and we cannot thank him enough for making our dinner so special. Would highly recommend this restaurant and ask for Christian!

This is one of the best (there are several) restaurants at the Fairmont. The food is excellent. Our server was very personable and helped us choose some different dishes that we had not previously tried.

One of the best culinary experiences I ever had. from the hostess, who made us a table on one of their “singles”, to sweet milka, the guacamole before us, to rodrigo, who, according to my opinion, was the best server I ever had...to serve the joy; he is very familiar with his menu and extremely personal! in addition, eating was excellent! I recommend laguna very for eating, but also for the friendliness and professionalism of his employees. great job!

The food was good, but in the previous years not so good. miss the delicious desserts on the previous menus.
