Back Alley Diner - Plattsmouth

This place was amazing. Fried food that wasn’t greasy. I’ll make the drive back down from Omaha again for sure!

We ordered a full rack of ribs and an extra side; it easily fed three people. Check out the Sidewinder Fries and their Mac 'n Cheese. I don 't remember what they called it, but it had sliced jalepeños in it. The food was very good and so was the service. We were there for lunch on a Friday around 12:30pm and there were only a few other tables occupied. We will return!

The cook who awnsered the phone when i called to place an order was extremely rude. Very unprofessional, food is very meh. Rate 2-10 would not recomend eating here you may or may not regret your decision lol. I know i did. fyi they will take 45 mins plus to get out your order. And when they reply to a negative review they completely disregard why they are getting that negative review... check your workers not the customer.

This is a hidden gem! Attached to the VFW in Plattsmouth, the gals running this diner are doing a great job! Loved all of the homemade dessert options! Brisket was so good, tender enough to cut with a fork. We will definitely return!

Came down for the car show last night and as we were walking back to our car we were discussing what to do for dinner and noticed the back alley diner. They were extremely busy but we took a seat and ordered the Friday special (Steak Philly w/ fries and Cole slaw). Staff and servers were very friendly and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back.
