Kooksoo - Plano

The Jjampong was the best I've ever tasted, and I've had quite a few. If you enjoy something slightly spicy yet incredibly delicious, I highly recommend trying this dish. The owner was also very friendly, and the service was excellent!

When we arrived at 8:16 PM, they informed us that the kitchen was closed. I asked the lady who took my call why she didn't take my order or mention the kitchen hours, and she defensively said that she would have told me if I had called at 8 PM. After discussing it with two other staff members, they eventually said we could still order the rice dishes and beef noodles, so I reluctantly agreed to the limited options. However, just five minutes after sitting down, they returned to say they couldn't serve the grilled chicken. This isn’t the first time I've been told they had it, only to find out later that it wasn’t available—what a letdown! When we decided to leave, the guy at the counter seemed almost pleased that we were going. This restaurant seems to rest on its laurels, believing they provide good service, but we've been disappointed too many times due to poor management. The waitress never apologized for her attitude, and her rudeness to customers is unacceptable. She should certainly be let go for her behavior.

This restaurant has a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere and the food is excellent! I tried their Beef KOOKSOO, and it was truly fantastic! Before our meal arrived, we were pleasantly surprised with some complimentary kimchi, which was also very delicious! I highly recommend visiting this place!

I came here on two occasions, both were phenomenal experiences (Thanks to Mr. Strictly Dumplings). The restaurant was impeccably clean! The staffs were friendly, the dishes were superb. The must-try items are:-King ribs jjamppong-Korean BBQ Bulgogi-Galbi JjimI'll definitely come back and try the other items!

Noodles are so good. Has just the right chewiness. Super flavorful and delicious. Definitely recommend.
