Custard's First Stand - Pittsburgh

This has been a business that I have been going to since 1988 (as a baby). It has always been amazing but Kirk McConnell is currently the owner. And when he cooks- boy does he cook! The food is such a surprise after ordering. The burgers and fries (really anything) is so much better than restaurant quality. I highly recommend stopping for food or even ice cream with good service. The prices are great and everything is spotless (even the bathroom, moms/dads)! How does this happen?? Kirk?

The good lovin ice cream sandwiches are ridiculously huge but magnificent! Can't believe I've lived in Pittsburgh practically my whole life and have never been here until this week! Will definitely go back.

My parents took me there as a child, now I take my children there. Great place to go

I seriously go through milkshake withdrawal when they close for the season. Other shakes just don’t cut it! Very satisfied customer!!!
