Bidrage med feedbackI give this restaurant 6 stars just for its irreverent concept alone! My coworkers introduced me to this place for lunch about 10 years ago, and I was amazed when I first walked through the front doors. Returning to town for a brief visit, I wanted to impress my girlfriend with my local knowledge by taking her here. The staff was just as friendly and welcoming as they were ten years ago, even though they were about to close. We didn't have any food, just a quick drink, took some photos, and then continued on our way. It was definitely a great and unique Pittsburgh experience.
This restaurant offers a more traditional sit-down dining experience. The concept and interior are really cool and beautiful. Their happy hour specials are the best price in town and they have a great variety of beers. The food options are standard but the taste matches.
Incredible place! We were recommended to visit this spot and we were not let down. The interior of the restaurant was fantastic. The food was delicious. I tried the Jubilee Hilltop Ranch Meatloaf and it was so tender and flavorful. From the atmosphere to the food, you can't go wrong with a visit here. They also have a merch table inside with affordable prices. I bought 4 pint glasses with their logo for $20. Definitely worth stopping by for a delicious meal with a view.
I visited the restaurant for the first time last Saturday during their Oktoberfest event. I anticipated it would be crowded, but we had reservations so we were seated promptly. Although I do not drink alcohol, my friends enjoyed their beers. The service was a bit slow in taking our order and delivering our food, but I was prepared for that. I ordered the vegetable pasta and the seven-onion soup. The soup was fantastic! My only issue was that the soup arrived after my meal instead of before, and I was not able to get a drink refill. Overall, it is a great place to visit with a unique atmosphere.
Obviously the interior of the restaurant can't be beat. Magnificent old church with pews for booth seats, original lights, stained glass, ceiling detail. The staff was friendly, our waitress very good. Beer was good as was the food. In house pastrychef for dessert. We had lunch. Everything was good.
