Stabilimento La Florida - PINETO

This is a beachfront resort with restaurant and ancillary services. On the back you can find a nice pine grove, benches and seats in the shadow as well as a kids playground. The restaurant offers a small selection of local specialities, mostly bivalves based. Otherwise pasta, pizza and french fries, as well as fruit. The restaurant is is particularly good and therefore busy, so be prepared to wait a bit for your dish. Food is prepared from scratch, not pre-made. If you are in hurry you better ask in advance how long it will take for your order and maybe choose something quick to prepare, like a simple dish of pasta, or a pizza, or french fries. The personnel is kind and professional, and the beach is lovely. The pine grove on the back is a blessing on the Italian hot summer days Ideal for families.

Lovely lunch with kids as break from cycling along the coast near Pineto (which I would also recommend). Spaghetti vongole followed by mixed fried fish. Staff really friendly. Really well cooked and reasonable value. Would go again.
