When I learned that this fresh pasta place existed, I was happy. Unfortunately, I soon changed my mind. In fact, I work in the area and when I discovered Amido, I was very happy to find a fresh pasta place with such a wide choice of sauces. Unfortunately, even though I frequent the place two or three times a week, I soon realized that it was a compromise choice given the limited dining options in the neighborhood. First, the pasta is often too soft, i.e. overcooked, and sometimes I have the impression that the sauces are heated in the microwave. Furthermore, if initially there was a very nice waitress, the person I have been seeing regularly for two months is much less pleasant. The first few times I saw her, she wouldn't stop asking me if I wanted extra toppings to get me to spend more money. Even though I always told her firmly no, she continued until I told her in my eyes that I didn't have the money to pay them. Today I had to wait 15 minutes before being served at the cash register. I know you're having staffing issues and I'm sorry, but this wait time was way too long, especially from a place where you're trying to eat quickly. I told the waitress in question and asked her if I could have my tagliatelle less cooked and she told me the cooking time was 3 minutes which is too much. Following this disastrous experience, I have decided not to return to you again. From a culinary point of view, this place offers lower quality pastas than any other fresh pasta place I have frequented (like at the central market in Florence, 6 euros, fresh products and pasta made every day or Bottega Portici in Bologna), and the staff is sometimes difficult... Without hatred, but to reflect.

The gnocchi was really soft and made very well. However the tomato sauce didn't feel fresh and had way too much oil. It wasn't saucy. More like chunks of tomatoes and a load of oil. The tagliatelle wasn't al dente. Nice concept, quick food, pocket friendly, but just not the authentic pasta experience in Italy. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
