La Piadineria - PIACENZA

This is located on the street between the Duomo (Cathedral) and Basilica di Sant'Antonino, which is convenient. They do have varieties of choices and it's a good place to have a quick Italian style meal. I had one with salmon and it was good but not that great. Unfortunately, the piadina bread was too dry for my taste. The unpleasant issue we had was the odor of leaked gas when we were ordering, thus we decided to take out instead of eat in the shop. The cashier wasn't friendly, either. I'm not sure if I'd go back there unless it's really necessary.

Perfect fast food restaurant. Tasty, healthy, good portions and easy to eat without cutlery or getting dirty. Wish we had a place like this in Iceland.

This is a small take out place where I got a traditional piadina, which is a folded flat bread, with prosciutto and arugula. One can customize it with more meats, cheeses and vegetables. Although this is a franchise restaurant and not a family owned business, the piadina was very good.

A really artesanal piadina, fullfilled with good ingredients. Very very good. A delicious break near diwntown of a little but very nice city.

This was the top discovery of my trip to Piacenza. The piadina is sooo good. As I was talking to my friend, she said that she discovered the piadina too early during the trip and liked it so much, that now she wants to eat it every day and not try any other food. That good. Especially La Legenda.
