The Stand Burgers Tacos - Phoenix

For decades, my normal burger spot when I land in Phoenix is in Tempe. I'll be very conflicted after visiting The Stand. It was awesome. A true vintage burger stand experience. It was late, so no fries, but I can't imagine they wouldn't be anything but superior. Don't be way-laid by the various taco stand you might pass try them some other time, The Stand will not disappoint.

This is a drive-thru only reataurant. But we parked out back to eat amd the food was phenomenal as was the service. Everyone very friendly.

I caught this place on my way out of town I'm not from AZ I'm from Michigan I was visiting someone there for about a week.. while there I tried many different food spots as I'm somewhat of a foodie... I gotta say this place stood out and took the top slot as my fave place out there before I left.. from what I can tell it's drive thru only and a small simple menu... but they grind their burger fresh daily and their stand sauce is absolutely fire!!!! Also I noticed they hand cit their fries as well which I was concerned about given that typically that seems to mean very thick overly sized fries that end up slightly undercooked... to my very pleasant surprise they were basically shoestring cut skin on fries cooked to absolute perfection... also I literally got a double Royale burger with bacon and cheese... and a large fry for less than 15 dollars and when insay it was absolutely perfect and juicy and the fries were perfection I mean it... it made the start if my long drive home absolutely great!!! Service was fast and friendly 100 percent on point the guy even complimented my piercings and esthetic... great experience... perfect food and when I eventually move there will be an absolute regular spot for me!!!!
