Bidrage med feedbackHere too, the simplest vegetarian dish is a great choice, I was not disappointed. In any case, recommend the place for everyone, as it has so many good options, from pizza to loc lac, and of course Mexican. We were surprised that our food was good, although the menu was so diverse. Also the staff was attentive and friendly, we were happy with the service. For those who like to take photos, the colors and lighting of the restaurant make an excellent background.
Excellent authentic Mexican cuisine. There are also menu items for Khmer and Wester of different types. The service is pleasant. This atmosphere. One of my favorite restaurants in Phnom Penh.
Excellent authentic Mexican cuisine. The service is fast and polite. The food tastes homemade. Chimichanga is the best I've ever eaten. Prices are reasonable. There is a bar for those who can enjoy a drink with dinner. There is also a wide range of chmer and western foods. The restaurant is located opposite the park along the Mekong River. The location adds ambience to the culinary experience. The seating are cafe style on the walkway, within the restaurant, but open air conditioning, and a closed air conditioning. Geckos add a small character as they eat all mosquitoes. All in all in one of my favorite local restaurants in Phnom Penh.
Viva is an institution! They have their 5$ mango margarita pitcher in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh for over a decade without increasing their prices. Their Khmer foods are delicious and reliable, I like their version of fish much amok. The Mexican is basic Tex-Mex, but it's okay, filling and goes well with cold beers or margaritas. I never miss an opportunity to visit Viva when I'm in town
One of our favorite past times is getting Mexican food outside of Southern California and then talking about how bad it is. Surprisingly, i can't really do that with Viva. Their food is legitimately good. There salsa reminds me of taquerias back home. The tortillas are kinda weird, something closer to a corn meal wrap. They're unusually thin and surprisingly strong. But they make awesome chips. Happy hour was totally worth it. They make decently boozy cocktails. Two tacos and an order of nachos, drinks and beers can be had for under 9 bucks and you'll be quite happy. To be fair to LA Mex... I did not have asada, carnitas or pastor... The meats were flavorful but more like shredded beef and pork.
