Bidrage med feedbackWe had a reservation for a table of 6 for 8:30 o'clock (the restaurant closes at 9) when we arrived, the waitress rushed to order us, rushed to take away our food, then automatically added a 25% gratuity to our bill. she was extremely rude and I never felt unwilling in a restaurant anymore. that was okay, so I guess they have it for them. I will not be coming back
Very quiet restaurant, actually it was empty on a Saturday night. I forgot it was a BYO restaurant, but they were nice enough to offer a free drink. great, friendly service and very nice, clean environment. it has the look I like for an Italian restaurant: low lighting, Italian landscape, etc. that eating was simply ok, what was disappointing because I love eating Italian and the place has an authentic Italian feeling. but eating was nothing special. probably the largest proportion overall was the parking situation. I didn't know when I made the reservation that the restaurant is attached to a home, and the parking space is only for residents. there is no payment near, so we had to park in the jump garden and run a few blocks. I think it could be street parking normal, but there are currently construction so there was no option. not so much, but the weather was cold and rainy. overall it was good, but there are definitiw better options for italian.
The food was mediocre, the waitress was not good and the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. I would have used the toilet room before I ordered my food, I would have left. I've never been to a restaurant or bar that had such dirty bathroom. I would not recommend this place or ever go back.
Great food! would eat again! portions were perfect size and felt like I was in someone's house eating her best dish for dinner. jummy!
Eight of us went to the restaurant prior to going to the theater. We were seated immediately. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We started with the Sausage and Cauliflower as well as the grilled vegetable appetizers. In addition the chef sent us a plate of fried eggplant on the house. All were fresh and prepared perfectly. For entrees half of us chose the veal parmesan with homemade gnocci. The homemade mozzarella and red gravy were very good, the veal tender and lightly breaded. The gnocci light and fluffy. The other half chose the Boss Pasta. Sauteed shrimp and crab in white sauce over linguini. Pasta was cooked perfectly. Plenty of shrimp and crab. We could not decide on a dessert so the waitress suggested a sampler plate of their homemade desserts. All were great.. Also this is a BYOB. The only negative to this restaurant is that it sits back off the street and is a bit difficult to see. However there is plenty of parking. All agreed we will return.
