I highly recommend The Elm Tree Inn for its delicious and fresh food. Although there may be a bit of a wait between courses, it provides a great opportunity for family conversation. The vegetarian options are superb as well.

This is a place that would impress any foodie both with the quality of food and the art of presentation. The desert (cheesecake with persimmon served in a carved pumpkin) left me speechless. Sometimes they try to be too artsy and cuisiney, so even I lost the ability to tell apart items fermented for sixty days vs. regular stuff from the fridge, but is all in great spirit of joy and discovery.

One of the reasons why this restaurant is so popular is probably because their head chef is also a co-owner. The fusion cuisine and unique combinations made me eager to try everything on the menu. The waiters were knowledgeable and showed passion for their work as they explained each dish in detail. Some standout dishes were the chicken pate, crab with strawberry, and apple pie. The prices were reasonable considering the amazing presentation and the use of fermented ingredients. I highly recommend booking in advance as we struggled to get a table in the evening!

The restaurant's service is very attentive, and takes into consideration even the most challenging requests. I highly recommend this restaurant. The kitchen and the staff are exceptionally attentive.
