Thistle - Perth Kinross

Visited today for a business function.I had both breakfast and lunch. I can’t fault the service or the hotel.Excellent food and surroundings. Top class

If you want to be told to pay double the price you 've already paid and try to claim back the original price later, that your dog has no way in hell of being allowed to stay (despite having confirmed prior to booking and paying) that dogs are welcome, and if you want to deal with the most inept, dismissive and ignorant hotel manager since Basil Faulty, then the Thistle in Kinross is the place for you..... The owner was more interested in complaining to US about how much trauma and irritation he has had, than addressing our having paid for a service he was refusing to supply..... Unbelievable..... Glad our friends were able to turn around, as there was no way we intended to give this shower a further penny of our money..... From personal experience I 'd recommend you avoid if like the plague though.... We drove 4 and half hours back home rather than stay or attempt to reason with the owner ....

I was worried about going out to eat as I hadn't been out since March due to shielding but was put at ease as Hannah went out of her way to ensure we would be seated away from other people, then our waitress Clara was incredibly careful to ensure we were not only looked after but organised bookings to allow us to sit entirely desperately from other diners. I felt confident and at ease, the food was scrumptious, overall the service ,care and attention given to us was superb, food was ministering and then on paying we realised that it was incredibly cheap too. I'm so happy that I have booked again for two separate dates next week. . I can't recommend this establishment highly enough, thank you , I felt normal for the first time since lockdown and it felt wonderful.

The resturant has just reopened with new owners. Food was good, would recommend. Service friendly. Hope to be back soon.

Stopped for lunch nice friendly staff place has been re-vamped, looks amazing. Food was excellent 100% recommended.
