There were a few gluten free options, although there is no dedicated gf fryer, so that is limiting. I chose the Salty’s original burger on a gluten free bun. It fell apart, which I’m used to, and the burger was “just ok.” The waitress suggested a side green salad, which I enjoyed, but it was interesting a curry dressing with pineapples and almonds. I felt fine after eating there.
I was disappointed as they no longer have gf calamari but I had the pad Thai which was very good.
They have a dedicated fryer for gluten-free calamari, but this isn't clearly indicated on the menu. There are also plenty of other delicious gluten-free options, including burgers, sandwiches, and fish tacos. The menu mentions some of these, but it's a good idea to ask for more details!
I visited this restaurant last summer and found a few gluten-free options, but it’s important to ask questions about cross-contamination. I was interested in the Pad Thai and asked the server whether the rice noodles were cooked in the same pot as the pasta noodles. She returned to inform me that, unfortunately, they do use the same water for both. I requested that she check with the kitchen to see if they could prepare the rice noodles in a separate pot with uncontaminated water, but they declined, claiming they didn’t have room on the stove. This was incredibly disappointing! I won’t be returning.
