Bidrage med feedbackPopped in for a late lunch. Delighted to see cawl on the specials menu. Huge bowl of lamb filled cawl, beautiful bread (baked in house?)and large chunk of cheddar, absolutely delicious. Friendly staff. Great value for money.
I went to this restaurant for breakfast with my partner and our dog. The coffee was excellent. I ordered the small breakfast, which was good, but the sausage tasted a bit processed. I was disappointed there was no sourdough bread for the toast. My partner ordered avocado on toast with poached eggs and chili, which was delicious. We also checked out the visitor center, which was dog-friendly.
We recently enjoyed a wonderful full Welsh breakfast at this restaurant and even hours later, I am still feeling quite full. The plate was filled with fresh, high-quality ingredients that were absolutely delicious. As expected, there was a bit of a wait when the restaurant got busy, but everything was cooked fresh to order. We savored every bite and were consistently impressed by both the service and the quality of the food. The staff were friendly, warm, and went above and beyond to make our dining experience special.
I regularly visit St Davids with my family and have been coming for many years. This cafe is situated within the tourist information centre and there is also a gift shop and an interesting gallery on site, well worth a visit in its own right. I suspect some seasonal visitors might not realise there is a cafe here as it is slightly further to walk from the town centre/cathedral than some other options, which would be a shame as this is probably the best place for brunch in St Davids. This cafe has its own parking or you can easily walk to it from the main town centre. Last week I came twice for brunch and again for coffee and cake with family members and friends, we were all very happy with our food each time we visited. Consistently well cooked and of high quality. The portion sizes are generous and the meat was good quality. There are vegetarian breakfast/brunch options available as well as options for children. There is outside seating if the weather is good and the cafe is dog friendly with plenty of toilets available in the cafe and outside and space for the kids to run round outside the cafe. I really enjoyed the avocado toast with poached eggs and also the lemon and blackcurrant cake. My partner enjoyed the full Welsh breakfast and kids enjoyed the pancakes. There is a selection of board games available. Can't wait for our next visit!
The breakfast options are great. The staff is very welcoming and also dog-friendly. The atmosphere is pleasant in a unique venue.
