Beach Box - Pembrokeshire

Such a beautiful view but made even more special was the experience and welcome we received from staff. On every occasion our family and (in particular) my 4 year old boy received such a warm welcome and lovely service from what I can presume was the owner or manager. The drinks and snacks we had over the duration of our stay were all great. We returned multiple times due to the service. I also observed the interaction with other people and it was so genuine- what was exceptionally telling was that staff working the beach such as lifeguards and paddle boarding staff chose to eat or drink here- and it really is no surprise!! There are other cafes/ spots on the beach but if you want to feel valued, get great service and a warm welcome then this is the one for you.

Unexpectedly good bacon cheese burger from this place(one of best have ever had) nice cup of tea. Shame they didn’t do fries with it, but can’t have everything. Other than that ideal and convenient location right by the beach, fair price for what it was too, just what was needed after walking for an hour and a half along the coast.

I hade a spicy chicken salad thing (cajun chicken perhaps, sorry can’t remember exactly) and it was the best thing I ate in Tenby all week. My wife had a vegetarian wrap of some kind (possibly Haloumi, sorry don’t remember exactly what she had either), and she thought hers was the best thing SHE ate in Tenby all week. We couldn’t fault it. We ended up going back later in the week too as it was so good. The lady serving was really personable too, and she was happy to customise the salads we had with our food to accommodate our preferences. Highly recommended based on what we had. Not many tables, perhaps, but you can always sit on the beach, which is about a metre away!

During our holiday in South Wales last week, my family and I had lunch at Beach Box restaurant when we visited Tenby beach. We were extremely impressed with our experience. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service. The food, which included a grilled chicken salad box and chicken wraps, was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant as it is definitely worth the money.
