Bidrage med feedbackSavory and wholesome soul food compliments well by a very diverse array of cocktails. Perfect portions to order a bunch of tour favorite tapas to pair. Service was excellent, and their occasional themed brunches all make this place worth a visit!
We ordered drinks, and then dinner when the drinks came, but the waitress didn't come back to the table to offer more drinks or anything else for what must have been an hour. The place had maybe three tables filled. We just ended up asking for our food to go. The worst part is that when we got home our overpriced meals were tiny and bland. Bland, at a Cajun restaurant. I only gave it two stars because we really want to like the place and the owner seems really nice.
Being a Cajun and New Orleans themed restaurant I was hoping for a stronger presence of spice and kick. The food was mediocre at best. The Mac and cheese was dry and overcooked and the only flavor I got from it was the overabundance of over cooked melted chesse. I was also very disappointed that the greens in the Sunday plate was cabbage. I thought it would of at least been a mix of both cabbage and collard greens. Aside from the mediocre food the owner was very personable and friendly. The dining space is quaint but initiate. I love the teal distressed ceiling. I hope they find a sweet spot for their flavoring because I don 't see it lasting if they don 't.
What a wonderful place! The owners are friendly and funny, and the food is excellent (I had the gumbo). It is also LGBTQ friendly. They do events and sometimes have live music. I highly recommend this place for food or drinks.
This place was A-MAZ-ING I went here with my sister. And it was SO good. The inside is SO pretty too. Great music too. Highly, HIGHLY recommend going here!
