Mayela's - Pecos

Great New Mexican Farewell. Did the Chicharrón Burrito really like it. Both crisp and chewing. Green source was not too hot, but delicious. Source for chips was very hot.

We thought here on the way back from the campsite in the Pecos to eat a quick bite and were not disappointed. The food was very tasty (we chose mostly new Mexican cuisine, although the french fries that came with the children's dishes were also excellent), the staff was very friendly and helpful, and we will probably visit again if next we have the chance. Despite the fact that there was no sit-down meal due to COVID-19, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and food.

I made a stop at the Mayela's restaurant for the first time before a long hike in the nearby forest and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a filled sopapilla with ground beef and red Chile, it came with a sopapilla on the side with honey. Both were very tasty and worth ordering again at my next visit. The service was also very good. Prost to Mayela!

The restaurant found by asking some locals where they eat! It wasn't disappointed. Great atmosphere, great new Mexican cuisine! Large portions were right.
