Bidrage med feedbackI'm not sure why I expected all the good we had for a snack and I saw that they had macaroni and cheese. I thought, hey there are probably some real Bougie people who stay here and get snacks, it must be at least decent! I was wrong. The simplest land of macaroni and cheese I had in my life. Power would have been better. I'm sure it's great for all ready meals. Just stay free from the macaroni lol Two stars for the view though
Not particularly remarkable by any stretch of any imagination. The lines can be awkwardly long on the weekends. The food ? Well, OK so lets talk about the sandwiches. The bread tastes like grocery store bread and way too much of it. The sandwich tastes like you're just biting into way too much grocery store bread and not much else of whatever that goes to a decent sandwich. Their salad ? Looks and tastes like someone just cut up a whole bunch of lettuce and squeezed some grocery store dressing into a side package. Again. Pretty unremarkable. Sometimes you walk in here for just a coke and are given a long piece of paper to sign for the coke with a tip line. Say what now ? You want me to give you a tip for ringing a coke at the register ? Aha. OK. Everything in here is pretty standard, as in nothing rememberable. Its like walking into a Safeway that plain Jane unremarkable. Chips. Nuts. Coke. Wine. Chips. Unremarkable sandwich.
Same stuff found at Whole Foods sold here. Get gourmet sandwiches and organic snacks with excellent coffees too.
There was an unexpected fire at the nearby restaurant we had a reservation at so we wanted to grab a quick bite nearby without waiting much longer. They have a good selection of huge sandwiches. The salads are super small so if you're trying to do a meal- go for a large and add some sides like chips.
I would give this place a three and a half stars if I could. The place was on the expensive side for sandwiches, chips and drinks but probably the least expensive place along 17 mile drive. We had three sandwiches. The first one was a market wrap that was of good taste and size. It doesn't have a lot of ingredients but it's not lacking either. The second one was the 15th club. The turkey was not dry and the bacon added a good taste. I liked the avocado spread that was on it. The third sandwich was the little Italy. This was one big sandwich, the other two can be shared but it would be no problem with this one. The two meats are good and the salami has a bite of pepper every now and then. All three sandwiches were good but they were over $50 dollars for them. Welcome to 17 mile drive.
