Bidrage med feedbackI visited Harvest Ale House for the first time on Saturday 9/28/19. decent size and very beautiful made interior. I had only a little time waiting for a friend, so I sat at the bar and had a beer. Beautiful selection of artisanal and local beers, as well as full bar. Bar delicate was very nice and efficient. Only complaint was the beer was not very cold and the glasses was a tad warm. I didn't look at the restaurant menu or try some food, but the food at the table behind me looked very good. I will definitely try it again.
Beautiful, lively atmosphere, but noisy!!! Guitarist was great and delivered Irish background music. Best baked potato and bacon ever! The beer selection is above. The only negative is that the beer was warm. We are all not fans of warm! We know in Europe that they serve it at the pace of space when that is politics, tell us! We had a great time and service was good.
Good local brews and good food. Has the original bar still intact, look better than ever. If fast food compounds cannot cut the must. You don't have to go to a bigger city for a good residual araunt experience.
I brought my kids and parents there for birthday dinner tonight. It was a Tuesday and it didn't take long until the place became alive. The menu is small, but the selections are well thought out. You don't lose what to choose. We had some nice appetizers to start. The articles are unique and not what you could expect in a small city. Service was very good and accommodating. My daughter and mother shared a shield. No problem for them. My son prefers a sandwich, and it's nice that they offer it. Our meals were all perfectly cooked and aromas galore. NY strips, Pork Chop and glazed salmon. Yeah, all in Paxton. My father even commented on the good portion sizes. I know my father would love a local craft beer, so he chose a Citrus wheat. Very nice to know that many local ingredients are produced where possible. All in all a pleasant experience. The Harvest Ale House fits more than just a niche in this little town!!
First time at the Harvest Ale House and will definately go back again. The food was great, service was excellent, overall a great experience. I highly recommend the bone in pork chop, was cooked to perfection. Kudos to our waiter Brian, he was fun and did a wonderful job.
