Bidrage med feedbackI ordered a potato bowl from the main course section of the menu for 160 baht. The portion was more like a side dish and very small for a main dish. I also ordered a soda water for 20 baht, but was served a small glass with a strange lemon additive that I didn't request. They charged me 50 baht for it, which was disappointing. Despite the small portion size, the potato bowl was very good. Overall, I don't see a reason to return to this restaurant.
Hi, we are the two girls from Finland mentioned in the previous review. We thought the owner was a bit lazy and ordered for us what he liked. We came here because of the fully vegetarian label and the owner understood well what vegan means, which was nice. The food was average, but they made it low in oil as we requested. The prices were reasonable, considering the location in the middle of Pattaya. We have eaten at many Indian restaurants in Thailand, so our standards may be too high. I recommend this place if you want to support vegetarian options instead of the many others in Pattaya.
Govindam Vegetarian Indian Restaurant I am a lover of Thali (a Thali is a combination plate of Indian food) because I often eat alone and want to have a variety of flavors. To order separate dishes would mean I could only have one or two before I am full. So Thali's or buffets are the way to go for me. I have visited this restaurant multiple times and will continue to do so in the future. The staff is friendly and helpful, the food is delicious, the prices are affordable, and there are vegan options available. During my first visit with a friend, we were given two menus to choose from, one with pictures and one with a full menu. There were no specific markings for vegan dishes, but when we mentioned no ghee, no milk, and no paneer, the waiter understood our dietary preferences. I usually order the dosa for 115 baht, along with a soft drink for 30 baht, which makes for a satisfying and quick meal. The dosa comes with coconut and coriander chutney and daal, although I would have preferred a different daal. I also tried the daal tadka, veg pulao, curries, and green salad, all of which were good with generous portions. My only complaint is that the daal tadka was not the usual yellow or red lentils, but possibly made from mung beans or peas. Prices do not include VAT.
Haha we're the two girls from Finland mentioned in the previous review. Actually we thought the owner was bit too pushy and made us order what he liked. We came here because of the fully vegetarian label too and the owner understood well what vegan means which was nice. The food was average to be honest, but good thing was that they made it low in oil because we asked. Prices were okay considering the place is in the middle of Pattaya. Even though the location in this map is not correct. We've eaten in so many indian restaurants here in Thailand so maybe our standard is too high. I recommend this place if you want to support vegetarian places rather than those many others in Pattaya.
