This outclasses any other pizza services. The food was quality and I enjoyed every bit of it. Should have ate it slower lol This dethrones the Costco Pizza. Worth every cent. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I haven't lived in Pasadena for almost six years, but when I did, 1978 was always my go-to place for pizza and subs. The food used to be fantastic but now, it's just like any other pizza and sub place in Pasadena. I will stop occasionally when visiting my family but definitely don't go out of my way to go here anymore. The subs are still good but the pizza has really gone downhill and the pasta dishes are subpar. I still see Ciro, the owner, every once in awhile but the other staff just don't make the experience desirable. It's a shame, I used to really love this place. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
