Bidrage med feedbackI was charmed by the couch-looking booths in the middle so we got seated in one. Food was pretty good, I enjoyed my spicy chicken sandwich. The deviled eggs we pretty decent. Mac and cheese was nice and fresh, just needed a little seasoning. I will have to come by for brunch sometime though I’m sure these guys are popular for that. Hangup for me but maybe not for others is that there are too many televisions. It makes sense for a sports bar, but for this place it was a little discombobulating.
Unique seating area. They repurposed sofas as 'booths ' which is pretty cool. Their drink menu is also unique. I had a champagne sangria. Usually sangrias are made with red wine, but that was a fun twist. My husband 's soup came out way after his entrée and we weren 't charged for it! Their food was delicious and there was excellent customer service. I will be returning!
First walking in, the atmosphere was a mix between nice restaurant and brunch bar; blended nicely. The hostess immediately met us, but with no smile and seemed very put off that she was even working. We were set in the bar and immediately recieved glasses of water and told someone would be with us shortly. Our waitress/bartender arrived shortly after with a smile and hospitality. Our drinks were works of art and the flavor showed the artisan craftsmanship that comes with unique cocktails. The level of noise and ambience was mixed well, and soon after our appetizer arrived. We got the Ahi Tuna. The plating of this appetizer was pleasant and artistic. When each element of the appitizers was placed together at once upon your taste buds it took you into a five star mentality. Your forgot you were downtown Parker. Well done. It did take a while for a food to come out, and we observed others who were sat after us recieve their food before. Once our food came our we took our time tasting the different flavors (or lack there of) Cuban sandwich thr bread had an amazing toast and crips as you bit into it. The bread on the inside was a flavorful softness that accented the Smoky and delightful flavors of the sandwich content. Would highly recommend it, and will even return for it. The tacos...get past the beautiful visuals and you are left 100% opposite of the Cuban sandwich. Very bland, no flavors, and would make anyone feel as if they had stepped Into a two dimensional black and white TV show. If the meat from the Cuban was used in the tacos....then we would be having a different conversation. Overall 4 stars. We would return, and look forward to trying different flavors; just need an upgrade to your tacos, or take them off the menu all together.
We had a party of 24 for Christmas dinner. Hands down, we received the best customer service. Our food came pretty quick, drinks had just enough alcohol, friendliest staff.
The restaurant is clean, comfortable (with a unique couch-seats setup) and most everyone was pleasant. Unfortunately, that’s all the good I could say for the Brick House because the food was awful and we told the new, unmoving manager that straight up. Our onion soup tasted plain, like water down beef bouillon with some slightly cooked onions. My pulled pork grilled cheese, while tasty, was dripping in grease and I was only able to eat 1/2 (and I was starving). The calamari appetizer was also extremely greasy, enough so that manager took it back to show the kitchen, but not enough for him to do anything else about it. We also had the flatbread pizza but the dough wasn’t cooked all the way. The waiter did offer a replacement for the calamari, but really we just wanted out. To help pay we had a gift card, though it wasn’t valid (due to the original company selling the place) and the manager was nice to give a discount for our meal but he didn’t bother on why the food was so bad after telling him (again I can’t believe the manager thought our food was so bad that he took the full plate away to show the kitchen but left us just sitting in the dust). This place made me sick from all the grease, hopefully, others in our group don’t get sick from the raw pizza dough, and we only ate about 1/2 our meals (if that). Nice place but does not have it where it counts—the food and customer service. EDIT: In response to the Company's reply, they asked if we could give them another shot and I replied but was basically left on un-read (been over a week now). I've since revised my review from 2 to 1 stars. EDIT 2: Corporate followed up and we will give the Brick House another try, back up to 2 and will update again after our next visit. EDIT 3: We went back, food and service was great. It's a nice and clean restaurant, that definitely redeemed itself. From 1 to 2, and now 4 stars. Also added new food photos from our most recent trip during their brunch service.
