Bidrage med feedbackI ordered a New York steak, but I'm not sure what I was served—it definitely wasn't NY steak. The waitress seemed unfamiliar with the menu, which only had five main dishes on it. She claimed the shell beans tasted like French beans, but they were nothing like that. The noise level at 6 PM was overwhelming, with screaming children everywhere and parents who didn't seem to care. For the atmosphere, I was shocked to pay $26 for a small starter of Brussels sprouts and $56 for a tiny steak. It was not worth it!
Discover778357 When we arrived at our server, while nice was immediately unable to answer questions about wine. had to go further to ask questions of the bartender, but then did not yet come to explain something for 30 minutes. We ordered a salad and cauliflower that were good, but not great. When we finished, our server arrived and said that's the end of the road? No, sir, it is not (although we wish). We hadn't even ordered a single duck. They say to share meals, but they deliver tiny portions. Share the strip steak about half a piece of strip steak. Not even a full steak to share $50? The manager argued that the menu said it was a small amount of ounces. Really? Where? But really... why would you even deliver that? I didn't say a problem to hire a court to have no milk. They were there! When our court arrived? Sauce with milk and needed a new one. The desserts. were basically a shop bought ice bar with a stick served in a bowl with spoon? The bar was so hard that you couldn't even cut in. $16 for an ice bar on a stick? We said it would taste like an almond joy with chocolate sauce. The ice bar arrived, it had been pollinated with raspberry jam over everything and no chocolate sauce? The server claimed he never said it was chocolate and the cook likes to improvise. Chef Improv is to slather jelly on an ice bar? I guess the special cook can't even make the $16 desserts? Skip the argument with the manager!
They took 45 minutes to get our drink order, then only took half of our tables dinner order serving half of us dinner while the other half just sat there! When we complained manager was extremely rude and not helpful at all
Was really excited to go here, heard great things from locals. I left feeling pretty disappointed. The location though downtown and walkable to get to is inside a kind of strip mall so you have to go inside a mall type setting to get in. There's also two different seating areas, one in the main area with a seemingly cool ambience with a view of the nice bar, one where you have to walk outside the restaurant to get into which is small with no real ambience or view. The food options on the menu seemed reasonable for a trendy new American upscale fine dining kind of appeal, and the pork shank was definitely good, though not with $60 after tax. The mushroom bolognese was good, but pretty spicy for not having any warning on the menu that it was so. So it was a little annoying to barely be able to eat a dish that I ordered bc I wasn't warned it was spicy. Probably the most disappointing was how fast the food came. It was literally less than 5 minutes after we ordered. That may be good for some people or if you're ordering fast food, but at an upscale place part of what you're paying for is the time/ experience to enjoy your drink and sitting together. I would've stayed and had another drink if it didn't feel like they were trying to turn over tables. So for the price? All of the above just not worth it and wish we had spent our nice evening out elsewhere.
I'll start by saying it was nice that the hostess didn't seem annoyed when I asked for one the halfmoon booths/table that I spotted as we walked in the door. This place has a great atmosphere. The variety of craft cocktails were delicious! I ordered the cauliflower and pork belly both great choices.
