Starfish - Paraparaumu

I have heard good reviews about this shop that stirred up my curiosity. It did not disappoint! Their menu was well priced and the battered fish I got was superb. Perfect balance of fish and batter, not to mention it's crispness. Their chips were done quite well with the outside fried to a crisp and the inside nice and fluffy. They sell an array of fresh seafood as well and take orders in advance. They have a few benches outside the shop where you can enjoy your meal fresh. Definitely will come back for more, and if you are not from Kāpiti, this is worth the drive.

Haven't been here for over 8 years and it still our favourite fish and chips in the world!!! Don't let the lack of decor fool you..what they prepare and cook is worth the wait!!! Terakihi, Butterfish, scallops, mussels, raw fish, chips...amazing

Just fantastic to go and select your fillet from the fresh fish and have it cooked .. plus the team is always friend.. great prices and quality

Best value fish chips I've had in ages. Fresh and comparatively cheap. Only issue is the wait time, but that's just because of its popularity with the locals. Definitely phone in your order.
