Rick's Desert Grill - Palm Springs

Nice to go to a restaurant and one can have a conversation without loud music playing. Scott brought us to our table noticing we were wearing masks and asked us if we would prefer to sit in a less crowded area, we thank him for noticing and said yes, please. Very thoughtful on Scott's part to care enough to ask. Very appreciative since my husband has a compromised immune system. We are grateful! We enjoyed the turkey dinner and the Havana chicken with beans and rice. The flan was very good We will be back with friends.

It's my first time having Cuban food and it was really good. Dessert was not so. Fried banana is a must.

What an adorable find! I searched Google for a dinner and gave Rick's Desert Grill an attempt and glad we did it! I had the Cuban Lechon Asado and it was so good! My wife had the Havana Chicken, another great choice! The old fashion I ordered was also very good! I recommend Rick's Desert Grill!

We had an absolutely wonderful time. This is a low-key diner and the food and service is absolutely outstanding. We started with wonderful cocktails. My husband had a terrific Mojito and I had a wonderful watermelon refresher. It was just like the name said, light and refreshing. We had gazpacho which was also cool and refreshing which is perfect for the hot Palm Springs climate. Then we had seared Aji which was absolutely delicious. Even the vegetables that people normally overlook were beautifully done and the beans and rice incredibly tasty. The history of the place is a lot of fun, too, with all the great photographs. And our server, Jay, had personality plus and really made our meal special. We highly recommend the place! Enjoy!
