Bidrage med feedbackIn my opinion, this place is extremely overpriced for the quality of food we received. I ordered the chicken sandwich. It had probably 2-3 oz of chicken, it was very fatty, and dry. We paid $16 for a side of fruit, which was half cucumbers for some reason. The drink we ordered was good, so they got a second star for that.
This review reflects their carelessness in dealing with food allergies with hope that it will encourage them to better educate their staff and/or list food allergens on their menu. We came here for dinner on Valentine’s Day and immediately told our server that my husband had a tree nut allergy. It was discussed several times and nuts were even omitted from one of the dishes. We inquired about the sauce on the salmon and was told it was a “pepper sauce”. In addition, we asked for the allergy to be documented on the ticket for the kitchen staff to be aware. After eating some of the salmon, my husband started to have a reaction and we found out that walnuts were in the sauce. The manager was very apologetic and our bill was comped, but that did not make up for the carelessness of a life threatening emergency that took us to the ER. As far as the food goes for those that choose to eat here the beet hummus appetizer was amazing. The Tuna tartar and cauliflower steak were good. The cocktails and taste of the salmon entree were mediocre. Please update your restaurant practices to be more safe for those with food allergens.
Disappointing, to say the least. Repulsive is more accurate. We arrived for brunch on Sunday at a half-empty restaurant and pool area. We were told there was no space available at the tables by Michelle the manager . She said they were all reserved and flippantly sat us at the bar a group of 5 . After about 15 minutes, the bartender asked if we 'd like a beverage and something to eat. As we were talking to ourselves and losing track of time, I heard a commotion in the kitchen, about 10 feet from my seat. As I hear yelling and screaming, I see the chef walk out of the kitchen and the restaurant. The woman screaming was the manager, Michelle, who seated us. Keeping to our conversation, we wondered where the food was. It was about an hour at this point. The bartender comes over and tells us that the chef just quit on the spot and that the food order will take longer than expected. Soon after, the front desk manager came to apologize, tried to explain the situation, and offered us two complimentary cocktails for a group of 5. We were told our food would be up shortly. It wasn 't. We were approaching an hour and forty-five minutes of waiting for our food. Michelle never came out of the kitchen as voices grew louder, with the staff 's demeanor changed. By this time, the restaurant was almost empty. We picked up our things and walked out on the verge of losing our wits. No one tried to appease the situation or take ownership of their mismanagement. The horrible treatment of staff in front of customers is unacceptable in any condition, especially here. Moral of the story: treat your staff and customers with the respect they deserve. Leave your attitude at home.
Thank you for having our dog on the terrace, thanks for the delicious and creatively healthy appetizer and the soul filling food. Your food and service was wonderful as well as the aesthetics of the whole place. It ensures a wonderful and satisfied date night.
Great discovery! Dinner by the pool or in the indoor area. Great cocktail menu and brunch item, I'm sure dinner is also beautiful. Great service.
