Medio Oriente - PALERMO

The didn't get our food right, they didn't understand what we ordered. We have to ask for our drinks after 40 minutes and the same with our food. The waiters forgot us several of time and the fork and the knives, we had to ask for it. So we will not come here again. Waiting for our food for 1 hour is not okay.

We were busy, hungry, and this place was convenient. Since my wife and I both love middle-eastern cuisine, we stopped. The menu seemed Tunisian. I ordered cous-cous and moules. The food was excellent, the outdoor atmosphere pleasant, the price great, and the service fine. It reminded me that travelers should sample all good cuisines in the places they visit, not just traditional foods of the region. North African cuisine is now a vibrant part of the food scene in much of Southern Europe. Most if not all of the Tunisian restaurants in Palermo would outshine any of my limited choices in St Louis. Enjoy the food variety that every city offers.

Bad service, slow, cheapest ingredients around, nothing was rotten, just a very very poor quality dinner. I ordered fries at the end of my dinner to wash away the bitterness. Very disappointing. Falafel was great, to be fair.

Bel localino. Buon cous cous. Servizio un po' Lentino.
