Islas Veracruz - Palatine

Very bad experience, super expensive, the waitresses have a bad attitude and they want their good tips, they don't deserve it. I ordered some shrimp and they were super salty. My husband's food was very spicy, he couldn't eat it and I ordered a drink called mamona and it was super expensive and not even I had tequila and I asked the waitress and she answered me in a very bad way and I asked for a coke and they never brought it to the table. I will never return. Bad experience.

We got our order to go and live 20 min away. Everything was still hot and fresh. I can’t wait to go back. We came on a Friday but didn’t stayed for the music and dancing because it was the night before new years. But we definitely will be

12/16/27 I went to eat with my family at this restaurant for the first time, bad experience, the waitress looked angry, all rude, nothing friendly, second, my daughter found a mess in the food, they charged me for a coffee that I never asked for another, the tax was 10% and they charged 18%, the tips were applied to the bill, it is assumed that if not good service, they should not take the tips and then a discount for the greña, which is disgusting, the truth is, I no longer ate and the food disgusted me Leaving the restaurant I vomited and the girl just apologized, that was all, but if she took a $30 tip, the food really has no seasoning, well, I won't be coming back again!!!!

Great food and great atmosphere. A very authentic Mexican restaurant that serves good and fresh seafood. I am not a local guy, traveled from Seattle to visit family. So I understand the sentiment of people saying it's expensive. The ceviche/salsa is delicious! The drinks are great! Red Snapper with the garlic was really good. The octopus/pulpo was cooked to perfection -soft and tender. Overall, this place is great to come with family or a date. I would reccomend.

Very bad experience. Food was okay but so slow that kids were almost crying. Also too pricey. The worst part was our waitress. She had such a bad attitude. She never stopped by our table after serving one dish we needed to have freakin’ utensils!! until we called her and then she ‘arrogantly’ said that’s how it is at the restaurant. One spoon and one fork for 4 people was how it is at the restaurant!!! ??? she NEVER apologized until my husband was about to TIP. What a wonderful waitress. Geez. Will never go back.
