Go Sushi Japanese - Pacifica

Tried Go Sushi for the first time in probably 15 years, got 2 bento boxes, seaweed salad, and nigiri. Every item gyoza, rolls, teriyaki meat, nigiri were on point. We both remarked it was our best to go meal in awhile, we look forward to returning.

They've def gone downhill : used to love the bento boxes and rolls. Ingredients taste old.

We went in yesterday to Go Sushi because we got a craving for sashimi, and didnt feel like driving far. We were delighted at how good their sashimi was, Fresh! Quality slices both in size, freshness and quality of fish. The service was quick,, courteous and efficient. The restaurant clean and good ambience. The only drawback is that it is tucked back next to Long Board bar and Ocean Groceries store, so it took a minute to find the front door. We are fairly picky people when it comes to Japanese food, have been eating it my entire life, so this came as a nice surprise that the quality of the food can be found locally. We used to do takeout all the time from them, but then the pandemic hit. Im glad they are still there and their wonderful fresh sushi and sashimi is still here. Definitely will be back for more of their delicious food, especially the sashimi,, which btw is served and displayed beautifully !!

The food was fine for the price in Pacifica. It was Mother's Day, and there was no wait at 5:30 for dinner. Ocean Fish was about a 90 minute wait. We both had 3 item bento boxes. Service was attentive and polite. There is not much interior ambiance. It still has the old Muffin Mine atmosphere. The staff and kitchen spoke Cantanese, so I expected Chinese style Japanese cuisine. I would return if I had a craving for Japanese food close to home.

Let me tell you something, this restaurant good. If you are a sashimi lover, this is the place to eat if you're on a budget plus there's bento box. Our server is great because it tells us what the actual sushi is anytime we have a question for a certain sushi. Very attentive too I might add. The ambiance is ok but I only give rating is food and service only. The downside is that finding the restaurant is a bit tricky, even though the restaurant is in the Plaza there's a space where is a seating area that blocks the restaurant view from the parking. The easiest way to find the actual restaurant is literally next to a bar. Look for the bar to find it. Also, I wish they have more than 1 restroom.
